Saturday 26th October saw the Juniors out in force at the first Mid Lancs XC fixture of the season at Towneley Park, Burnley. In the younger age categories we saw some fine performances and results especially from Millie Stubbs in the U11 girls race. The U13 girls race saw new girl Alice Gane make her Clayton debut at cross country. In the U15 boys the competition is hotting up with Ryan Clarke now getting his rewards for the hard work he’s been putting in at training (watch out Kenan and Curtis) With no team positions awarded to the U11’s it was left to the U13 girls and U15 boys to race their way to 4th place. Special mention to little Finley Stubbs who after losing a shoe continued to work hard through the mud and water in the U11 boys.
