The 2025 Celebration, Fayre & Awards Evening is fast approaching, and the club really needs your support.
Over the past year, members have expressed a desire for improved communication, more social events, and greater recognition of achievements within our club. In the past, the club was criticised for how awards were presented, often without the sense of occasion that our members deserve. As a committee, we have listened to that feedback and have worked hard to make this year’s event something special.
Many hours of planning have gone into organising the evening, not only for the awards presentation but also for the Communication Fayre. The aim is to bring members together, celebrate the efforts and achievements of our runners, and continue building the strong community spirit that makes our club what it is.
However, events like this only work if members get behind them. Your support and attendance will help make the evening the success it deserves to be. It’s an opportunity to celebrate each other’s progress, recognise the dedication shown throughout the year, find out what is happening inside the club, and enjoy a social evening together.
Running is often seen as an individual sport, but our club shows that the real strength comes from our club community. This evening is about celebrating that spirit together.
