Chairman’s Christmas & New Year Message

Dear Members,

As 2025 draws to a close, I wish to extend my sincere gratitude to all members for your steadfast support and commitment to the club throughout the past year. Your active participation—whether through training, competition, volunteering, or serving on the committee—has been invaluable and remains the cornerstone of our continued success.

This year has also brought sadness with the passing of our esteemed former President, David Scott. David’s many years of dedicated service, integrity, and passion for both running and our club community will be remembered with the highest regard. His legacy will continue to inspire us all.

Despite the challenges faced, the year has been marked by significant achievements, including:
•Growth in membership, strengthening our community and welcoming new faces.
•Outstanding performances across all running disciplines and distances.
•Continued camaraderie and team spirit, which remain the defining qualities of Clayton Le Moors Harriers.

These accomplishments reflect the spirit and values that have guided our club for more than a century.
On behalf of the committee, I extend warm wishes to you and your families for a joyful Christmas and a healthy, prosperous New Year. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2026 for another year of shared goals and collective success.
Yours sincerely,
John Roche
Chairman
