The Coppice Trail race (6 miles / 1170′) at 6:30 pm on Tuesday 5th April will be in memory of Tony Aspin who was a club member for over thirty years. There will also be a walk led by George McAvoy. From 8 pm there will be a complimentary Potato or Cheese & Onion Pie supper. All race entry fees will go to the East Lancashire Hospice.
The race starts from The Peel Park, Turkey Street, Accrington BB5 6EW. Entry fee £4. For members of Clayton-le-Moors Harriers and Trawden AC only.
The Coppice Trail race is the first race in our Summer Series of five Tuesday evening races. The other races are the Worsthorne Trail on 14th June, the Uphill and Downhill races from Worston on 12th July, and the Tour of the Hameldons from Accrington on 16th August.
